My thanks to the Lightwater Country Park Rangers, Leisure Centre Staff and
Landmark for allowing access to the area and use of the power facilities.
The event could not have taken place without the help of my own staff from 1
Royal Anglian AGC Detachment; specifically Pte McRoberts who manned the
registration desk for most of the day; I note that she extracted phone numbers
from most of the competitors!! My controller Gavin Edwards of SN gave
me all the advice and assistance needed and although the A and B courses
were somewhat physical most competitors seemed to have enjoyed the midweek
exertion! Many thanks to all the competitors for attending and making it
all worthwhile. Finally, thanks to my family for running the String Course
which we hope will occur more often at Wed afternoon events.
I have manually reproduced limited split times for the fastest
competitors only as we were unable to run the software to capture all the
splits.

For those who are busy planning and preparing their own events they may
wish to print maps directly onto waterproof paper at the AOA Centre (Building
25, Longmoor Camp) - cost is approx £0.25 per A4 map.
