I would like to say thank you to everyone who has helped me to organise this event and all the competitors who took part in the event and made it a success. I would like to say a special thank you to Babcock who printed the maps free of charge to the Legion. I would like to thank Lt Col Metcalfe who planned the event and Maj (Retd) Allan Farrington who was the controller for the event and who also donated all EMIT UK hire fees to our charity. Thank you to Jerry Newcombe for all his help throughout the event, advice leading up to the event and for donating his fee to the charity. Thank you also to Maj (Retd) Colin Dickson for all his help and Tom's burger van for providing the refreshments.
Thanks to all your support, we have managed to raise in excess of
£517 for our chosen charity, The Royal British Legion.
